She then founded a P.R. company in London whereher clients included Robert Altman\, The Beatles’ company Apple Corps\, Liza Minelli\, Paul McCartney &amp; Wings\, Robert Redford\, Barbra Streisand and Francois Truffaut. Returning to America she started producing and distributing films as President of Island Alive and Co-Chair &amp; CEO of Alive Films. Films released included CHOOSE ME\, EL NORTE\, STOP MAKING SENSE\, KOYANNISQATSI\, KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN and THE MODERNS. She was founding President of The Los Angeles Film School and Vice Chair &amp; Master Filmmaker-in-Residence at the American Film Institute Conservatory. In 2003 Carolyn was invited to be Founding President &amp; CEO of Burnt Orange Productions at the University of Texas. There she set up a program where film students worked on professionally produced feature films. Moving to Marfa\, TX she executive produced FAR MARFA and the PBS documentary CHILDREN OF GIANT. She is currently in post-production on ROBERT IRWIN: A DESERT OF PURE FEELING. She is an executive producer on Keith Maitland’s DEAR MR. BRODY\, to be released theatrically in 2022 and then broadcast on the Discovery Channel. She is an active member of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Marcia S. Ross – Moderator\nMarcia S. Ross produced the Emmy-nominated American Master’s documentary Terrence McNally: Every Act Of Life (with Billy Porter\, Rita Moreno\, Nathan Lane\, Meryl Streep\, and Bryan Cranston)\, and the Critic’s Choice-nominated Nasrin (narrated by Olivia Colman). Other documentaries include The Savoy King (with John Legend\, Janet Jackson\, Billy Crystal\, and Jeff Goldblum)\, The State of Marriage (with Rep. John Lewis)\, 40 Million: The Struggle for Women’s Rights in Iran\, (for Time Magazine)\, and Father Joseph. \nRoss also has a three-decade career as an independent casting director and executive\, serving sixteen years as EVP of Casting for the Walt Disney Motion Picture Group and five years as SVP of Casting and Talent Development at Warner Brothers TV. The podcast has been running for over 2 years and continues to reach a wide audience and make money from ad sales and sponsors. \nKarin is currently producing numerous podcasts including “High Vibration Living” with Chef Whitney Aronoff and brought that under the Cloud10/I Heart Radio banner; “Modern Intimacy” with well-known \ntherapist Dr. Kate Balestrieri\, a contributor to POOSH\, (who has also been a part of shows on Discovery)\, and a Crime podcast\, “Without Consent”\, with two Forensic Psychologists\, She is also working with professional coach Sara Schulting Kranz on her existing podcast\, “Live Boldly” also with I Heart Radio. \nSirenia Media also consulted on initial brand positioning and go-to-market strategy efforts for Two Chicks Cocktails\, a canned RTD cocktail\, rated consistently in the Top 10 of new RTD products in the last 3 years. The product is now distributed in Walmarts\, Targets and BevMo’s nationwide. \nSilverstein was part of the original team that started E! Silverstein also consulted on a number of cable network startups. \nSilverstein was an EP of the Paramount Howie Mandel show\, Co-EP of the Howard Stern talk show on E!\, Supervising Producer of Late Show with David Letterman and Producer of Beverly’s Full House\, Oprah’s All Stars\, Lovetown and other shows on OWN. \nShe has also done casting for numerous companies including Ryan Seacrest Productions\, OWN\, Critical Content\, Leftfield\, GRB\, Endemol (Extreme Makeover Home Edition)\, VH1\, E!\, and more. \nSilverstein has also done branding for Michele K of Skechers\, broadening her scope into a lifestyle brand and her own show on HG; and numerous other talent/experts including wedding expert David Tutera\, travel expert Tara Hitchcock\, and fashion icon Beverly Johnson\, newly elected Governor or Maryland\, Wes Moore and many other known talent personalities. \nSilverstein also consulted for talent agency\, Innovative Artists\, in Los Angeles\, helping them with branding and entry into Social Media\, as well as helping with some of the unscripted talent.
