Danielle Alvergia Hobbs is a multifaceted performer and artist known for her work as an actress, singer, dancer, educator, and author. Dance awards included NAACP ACTSO Dance National Gold Medalist, and she has been a part of the Los Angeles Music Center Spotlight Award alumni for Modern Dance since the age of 15. She has a strong background in theater, having appeared in productions at the Goodman Theatre, such as the musical "Purlie" during the 2005/2006 season. She also landed the role of AIDA in Disney’s “Aida” in 2009. In addition to her theater work, Hobbs has a notable career in choreography, having worked with high-profile artists like Beyoncé and Shakira and was able to accomplish the album “Thank You,” credits for professionalism and teaching choreography for the two top superstar acts. She has also been a premier dancer with Cirque Du Soleil. Her diverse talents and contributions to the performing arts have earned her the nickname "The Real Deal," drawing comparisons to legendary performer Debbie Allen Ms. Hobbs’ first Dance publication, I DANCE: A SIMPLE HANDBOOK FOR STARTING A SUCCESSFUL DANCE CAREER, is lectured at Dance conventions worldwide, educational events, and community college career days. Ms. Hobbs’ Dance career and instruction has been spanning over a decade, coupled with numerous master classes globally, at university level, including Spelman University in Atlanta, Georgia, and Aboriginal School of Performing Arts in Brisbane, Australia. Danielle Hobbs received a Master of Education from Grand Canyon University. Working on her Master’s degree while touring with the world-renowned production company Cirque Du Soleil, she became a change agent for good. Having garnered an intense passion for teaching the Arts and female leadership in the Performing Arts, Hobbs is presently working on her Doctor of Psychology, Performance Psychology. She will use her PhD to continue mentoring as a professor on the level of higher learning and influence the impact Dance and the Performing Arts has as a pillar that brings back Hope, Love, and Unity in the community and culture.--
