Rosser Goodman is a film and television director with over 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry. Her work has been featured on Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, Amazon, PBS, and other major platforms. She began her career in episodic television for Steven Spielberg’s company and built her path from the ground up—working on set across departments before moving into directing and producing.
Originally from Washington, D.C. and raised in Columbia, Maryland, Goodman began acting as a child and developed a lasting foundation in character study and storytelling. She later founded Circle Content, where she held offices on the Paramount Studios lot and directed the feature film Love or Whatever, which screened at international festivals and secured global distribution. Her earlier feature, Holding Trevor, was critically acclaimed and released theatrically.
Goodman has overseen a wide range of film, television, and commercial productions for studios including Disney, Lionsgate, NBCUniversal, and Bad Robot, as well as campaigns for global brands. Her work has been recognized by Variety and the Los Angeles Times for its polish and impact. She has been a finalist in the Disney Television Directors Program, advanced in the Sundance Labs, and received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Millenia Foundation for her work in independent cinema.
She is the founder of TANŌ RISING FILM, a company that connects meaningful narrative films with philanthropic funding. Goodman is a member of the Producers Guild of America, the Television Academy, the NAACP, GLAAD, and the Hollywood Radio & Television Society.
She lives in Southern California with her wife, costume designer Oneita Parker, and their rescue pit bull, Bunnybear.
