• Crowdfunding & Equity Financing: Strategies for raising funds through crowdfunding platforms, and when to approach equity investors.
• Sales Agents & Distribution: How sales agents fit into today’s distribution landscape and what role they play in the film financing puzzle.
• The Path to Production: A high-level breakdown of the key deliverables needed to attract financing—budgets, investor decks, and legal requirements.
• New Financing Models: Exploring innovative financing methods such as product placement and partnerships, and how filmmakers can access these new opportunities.

IAN GRANT BIO

Ian is the co-founder and CEO of Greenlit, a film operating system for entertainment professionals. He is also a film producer, actor, and stuntman. Prior to co-founding Greenlit, Ian was the first hire at Squire, a YC-backed company valued at $750M a fintech platform for barber shops. He previously co-founded Minorities in Film, a community-driven, creative platform that empowers underrepresented voices in the film industry.

SARA HAMILTON BIO

Executive Producer, Filmojy; Head of Partnerships & Development, Catalyst Story Institute

Sara is a development executive and consultant with more than 25 years in the entertainment and media industry. She is an executive producer with the international financing and packaging firm Filmojy and the Head of Partnerships & Development for Catalyst Story Institute. With her background in marketing, independent film production, film commissions and incentives, fiscal sponsorships and product placement, she brings a wealth of knowledge on how to develop, package and finance films and series through creative partnerships.
