NADIA LEONELLI – BIO
With a slate of award-winning movies produced over a decade and a second decade of large-scale corporate media strategy experience as part of a small global team of innovators working with Fortune 100 Media Companies (Disney, the Recording Academy, Comcast, Moody, Reed Elsevier, etc) Nadia is a filmmaker and entrepreneur. Her career started as the US-based production partner of European film/TV for the BBC, Studio Canal, Warner, Fox and more, managing the operations and budgets, leading geographically dispersed crews and serving as a liaison between international clients. Eventually, Nadia was recognized with a nomination for the Independent Spirit Award – Motorola / Producer of the Year for her passion in backing and delivering compelling content. Her movies include Sundance Audience Award winner “Acts of Worship” by Rosemary Rodriquez, Sundance Jury Award and Cinematography Award winner “Hurricane Street” by Morgan J. Freeman’s, his second feature “Desert Blue”, (with Christina Ricci, Casey Affleck, Kate Hudson,), and “Perfume” by Michael Rymer (w. Jeff Goldblum, Mariska Hargitay, Jared Harris, Paul Sorvino, Leslie Mann).
