Monique C. Baisden is a proud native of Atlanta, GA where she matriculated through the Atlanta Public Schools system before attending and graduating summa cum laude from Clark Atlanta University where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education. She later received her Master of Arts degree in Communications and Leadership Studies from Gonzaga University. Additionally, she is a proud graduate of the ACTONE Hollywood Screenwriting program for Christian screenwriters and Lakeisha Dixon-Jones' Breakthrough Coaching and Leadership Academy, an ICF-accredited coaching program.
After graduating from college, Monique taught for 4 years in the Atlanta Public Schools System. She has also taught and provided career services to students at the collegiate level as an Adjunct Professor and Career Services Advisor, respectively. Professionally, Monique possesses over 20 years of diverse work experience from working at corporate and nonprofit organizations, startup companies, and consulting companies. In the business industry, Monique has worked for Fortune 500 companies, start-up companies, and her own small businesses, as she is a serial entrepreneur. She has previously founded and managed the following companies: Day One Consulting Group, CareerPath Advisors, GetLinked Events, GetLinked Consulting Agency, 4 The Kingdom Entertainment/4 The Kingdom Enterprises, Write to Inspire Publications, and Optimum Investment Group.
Since 2011, Monique has worked as a consultant to entrepreneurs, creatives, nonprofit leaders, and faith-based leaders to help them to launch their businesses or organizations, establish or transition their brand's identity, develop business communications, branding, and social media strategies, and manage company projects, from conception to completion. Additionally, she has conceptualized and spearheaded collaborative projects, networking opportunities, and events for creatives and entrepreneurs through her previously dissolved businesses. In 2017, Monique launched Purpose-Driven Dreamchasers, a Facebook-based community that provided prayer and inspiration, member promotion for creative projects and business ventures, as well as, collaboration and networking opportunities for Christian creatives, entrepreneurs, and professionals.
Monique loves to write, and she writes to inspire, encourage, give hope, provoke change and transform lives by telling stories through her music, her podcast, and her writings. Since she was a child, Monique has always been very fond of writing fictional short stories. She loves to imagine and create new worlds through fictional writing, as well as, tell her own stories through fictitious characters. She aspires to have her fictional short stories published as novels and adapted for TV shows and movies in the near future. Additionally, she is a published writer who has previously written for FreddyO.com, Type II Nation, Bold Favor Magazine, and served as a Staff Writer and Field Writer for TeamJesusMag.com. Her professional writing skills also extends to writing content for blogs, websites, press releases, infographics, and business communications. She also has years of experience developing social media graphics, presentation decks, pitch decks, and treatments. Furthermore, Monique is a self-published author who published her first book, "Single and Set Apart For a Season: A Book of Prayers, Declarations, and Scriptural Inspiration for Single Christians" in 2017. In 2023, she designed and published her 2nd book, "Let Us Pray: A 12-Month Prayer Journal".
Outside of writing, Monique loves to conduct interviews for informational, motivational, and inspirational purposes. In 2018, she developed a "Pursuing Purpose" interview series for Team Jesus Magazine that transitioned to "The Purpose-Driven Dreamchasers Podcast" , which can now be heard on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music, Pandora, and Soundcloud, and viewed on her Monique C. Baisden YouTube channel.
Ever since she was a child, Monique has always possessed many creative gifts and talents, but music has always been her passion. She has always loved to sing, create music, and write songs. In 2020, Monique founded 4 The Kingdom Entertainment (which was later named 4 The Kingdom Enterprises) where she primarily served as Executive Producer, Music Video Director, and Songwriter. 4 The Kingdom Entertainment's most defining and noteworthy creative project was a global human rights advocacy music video entitled “Enough Is Enough”. Monique wrote the song and co-produced the music for this song, as well as, served as the Executive Producer and Co-Director for the advocacy music video. "Enough Is Enough" has been previously selected, screened, and received multiple recognitions at the 2021 Voices Rising Film Festival, the 2021 Richmond International Film Festival, and the June 2023 Indie Night Film Festival in Atlanta, GA.
Prior to forming 4 The Kingdom Entertainment/4 The Kingdom Enterprises, Monique had been an independent songwriter since 2008, and in 2015, she formed The ProWriters, a professional songwriting and music production team. Outside of using her creative talents with 4 The Kingdom Enterprises, Monique is a professional singer who has several years of experience singing professionally with the Atlanta-based, SEEiT Choir, a corporate performance choir that has appeared in television shows, movies, and performed at other notable and highly acclaimed events, including Harry Belafonte's "Many Rivers to Cross" Concert, Jermaine Dupri's "The Rap Game", Tyler Perry's "Madea's Family Funeral" and "A Fall From Grace", FOX Television’s "STAR", and the CBS Pre-Show for Super Bowl LIII.
As Monique knows that a part of her life's calling is to be an advocate and change agent to her community and the world, Monique utilizes her gifts and talents to advocate for family caregivers, the elderly, the homeless, the impoverished, the voiceless, and the underrepresented through advocacy-focused storytelling.
